FROM THE DESK OF: EVANGELIST ANDREA A. LEE
Bless El Elyon the Most High God! The Giver and Sustainer of our lives! For He has Done Great Things! Worship our Savior, Jesus Christ! The Redeemer of our Souls! As people of God have you every felt as if you don't have strength or the capability to endure if something happened in your life? When faced with any type of weakness or disbelief the key is to ask God to, "revive you again." Not only physically but a spiritually. In other words a spiritual quickening of your inner man. A spiritual quickening should take place when you feel as if you're not in touch, not hearing from God or someone may feel as they can't make it. Perhaps you may have took a blow or got knocked down in a certain situation you have experienced. Like a boxer in the ring after a fight; in order for a boxer to heal or to regain strength they may have to go the hospital and get treated. It may take some time for his bruises to be healed. Understand that it's of great importance to recognize when you need to be spiritual revived.
The word, "revive," in the Hebrew text means to be quicken or come to life. To be restored to a state of well being. The Psalmist asked God in Psalm 119: 25, "Revive me according to your word." In other words the Psalmist was asking God for their life to be aligned according to God's word. You see, when you're revived according to God's word there will not be anything lacking in your life. This will also ensure that they're in tuned with the will of God. You see, being revived implies that growth and renewal to take place in your life. I encourage you to ask God to revive you again; to be restored, to be renewed in your inner most being. In other words asking God to breathe a fresh anointing into your inner man.
In the book of Acts 3:19; Peter informed the brethren to, " Repent therefore and be converted, that their sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Understand that the times of refreshing is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Given you a the ability and strength the overcome. Which includes giving you a fresh anointing and power. He was also instructing the people to change their thinking about the Lord as their Messiah. You see, at this particular time in the text Jesus was just crucified and ascended back to the Father and some disbelief. But, you see that saw Peter and John at the temple called, "Beautiful," and Peter healed a lame man. Acts 3:2, Peter told the on lookers to repent and serve Him because in Jesus we have hope! He is our hope for today as well as tomorrow. Allow God to revive you again and receive a time of refreshing from the Lord. Receive the Word of the Lord!
