FROM THE DESK OF: ANDREA A. LEE
This is the Day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it! Praise Jehovah our God! He is Jehovah Jireh our Provider! He is Jehovah Ropha our Healer! He is Jehovah Shalom our Peace! Thanking God for the Blood of Jesus that Covers and Protects our lives! As people of God we're to stand strong and confident in his word. Knowing that no matter what; God is present to protect us from the enemy as well as to restore us. The Bible declares in Isaiah 59:19 , "When the enemy comes in like a flood God raises up a standard against him." In other words God's Spirit intervenes with His power and authority. Scripture also states in Genesis 50, this was with Joseph and his brothers. "What the enemy meant for evil God will turn it for good." Which literally means that what the enemy means to hurt and harm you; God will turn it around to help you.
Joseph brothers put him in the pit and sold him because of jealousy. But, God over time as God was strengthening and developing Joseph through circumstances. He elevated Joseph and he became a blessing to Israel as well as to his family. God is setting things up in your life. Don't be alarmed, know that God is going to turn it around for good.
Let's take a look into the life of David, a man of war. But, this time the enemy, (Amalekites,) came against him, his family and his men families were taken at Ziklag. The name Ziglag signifies, "Measure pressed down." Which denotes a difficult, a time of testing wherby you're under pressure, you're being refined.) The Amalekites burned the city and their wives and children were taken. The scripture states that the people with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more power. Have you every been in a situation whereby you wept because you didn't know what to do? They were under pressure, they were hurt. Vs. 6 informs us that David was in distress because the people was talking about stoning him." "But David strengthen himself in the Lord." David had to rely on his faith and trust in the Lord.
This denotes when situations come upon you and you're over whelmed. Remember to strengthen yourself in the Lord."
