FROM THE DESK OF: EVANGELIST ANDREA A. LEE
Exalt the Lord Today! For He is the Great and Mighty One! Because of Him we have Life! Thank God for Jesus Christ the Savior of Our Souls! In my spirit I hear two words. "Prayer," and the "Wall." Understand as believers we're to live a life of prayer. To pray when faced with difficult circumstances as well as to pray when you need healing in your body as well as when you need God to intercede.
To intercede for your family as well as the bills to be paid. Also, while praying we stand on the physical or spiritual wall which represents God's protection, separation as well as spiritual fortification.
Let's get into the word of God. In the bible in the Book of II Kings 19, we see that King Hezekiah received a threating word from Sennacherib King of Assyria that he was going to invade Judah. vs. 1 reads, " when King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord." Then he sent the Eliakim, who was over the household, Sheba the scribe and the elders to Isaiah the prophet. They told Isaiah that the people had no strength to endure. Have you ever felt as if you have no strength to endure or you don't no what you will do if certain things will happen. God is speaking today saying to pray; pray with out ceasing because He's in control. In vs. 5, the servants came to Hezekiah and told him what Isaiah stated according to God's word. "Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with what the King of Assyria have blasphemed Me." Understand when the enemy is coming against you and you're standing on God's word. Their not only coming against you, but, their coming against God's power and authority. You see, the enemy can only do what God allows him to do.
In Vs. 7 God's word was towards King of Assyria. " Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by his own sword." When Rabshakeh, a leader in the Assyrian army returned with word from Hezekiah he found King of Assyria had left the land and was warring with Libnah. He sent another letter and messengers back to King Hezekiah, this time with a letter. You see, for us in our time this could be a physical letter, the internet, perhaps a threat coming from a phone call, news on the T.V. or radio. But, God is saying do not be afraid; pray and trust me. "I will fight your battles." Receive the Word of the Lord Today!
